Real aggregate counts, updated automatically. Repeat visits and clicks are included; these aren’t unique people or completed installs. Privacy opt-outs aren’t counted. How we count
Catch up. Write back. Find something.
Start with a question you’d actually ask.
A scripted demonstration using sample messages. No microphone, account, or API key needed.
Type what you'd say to your phone, or tap an example.
Preview only. Sample names and messages are made up. The real app runs on your phone.
Ask what you missed. Proto reads the newest five saved notifications first, then asks whether you want to hear more.
“What did I miss today?”Proto finds your contact, drafts a reply, and reads it back. Approve the draft to send or say “cancel” to stop. Sending needs your phone unlocked.
Say it → Check it → Send itBeta phone tasks can search and read results aloud. Watch each step, stop at any time, and complete purchases yourself.

Selected notifications are stored in an encrypted database on your phone. You choose the chats, and can delete saved data in one tap.
Phone tasks are designed to stop before purchases and payments, block financial apps, and avoid entering credentials. These are beta app safeguards, not a security guarantee.
Questions and saved context go to Groq or Gemini using your key. Without a name or app match, recent saved history is included up to a size limit. Phone tasks send screen text too. Wake-word detection is local; Android speech recognition may use a network service.
Download Pocketsay, choose your chats, and meet Proto. Allow about ten minutes for setup.

Early testing. Not on Google Play. Groq or Gemini key required.
You need Android 10+ and an arm64 phone. Testing has focused on a Poco F4 running Android 14 and HyperOS; other phones are unproven. Read the guide for permissions and background setup.
Pocketsay is free to try during early testing. You bring your own Groq or Gemini API key. Provider usage costs, limits, and data terms depend on the plan you choose.
The “Hey Proto” wake word and questions can work with the screen off, once permissions and background listening are set up. Sending replies and running phone tasks require your phone to be unlocked.
No. Saved notifications are encrypted on your phone, but AI questions send saved context to Groq or Gemini. Android speech recognition may also use the network. Read the privacy page before choosing your provider.
Pocketsay is not on Google Play yet. This edition uses accessibility and SMS capabilities, so you install its signed APK yourself. The download page includes verification, installation help, and a USB route.
